Ripping Games to HDD

How do you actually rip a game to the HDD?

do a search for evolution-x m8, do you mean the xbox hard drive or your pc hard drive, as there is new tools out now which let you transfer files straight from your xbox dvd drive straight to your hard drive and play them from there

evolutionx from pc to xbox and xbox drive to another xbox drive controlled via a pc. (Its essiental ftp server)

xbcopy = dvd to hdd on xbox. use evolutionx menu to select games.

projectx loader = standalone program.. dvd to hdd on xbox. Reported to not load files put on via evox and xbcopy.

yes. evolution-x does allow u to use the pc as well.

I forget the verison number of evolution-x is at now.. Theres not many known bugs in the latest version... if any!

There guides on this forum and on the net about how to use it. I would advise u to read them b4 starting! (such as xbox-scene.com)

the latest version is 1.8.2594, and i stress wot donty said again m8, read the guides before you use it, then when you do it print out the guide and follow it step by step.

connect the xbox to the pc with a network card and crossover cable, then when you put in your game in the xbox drive, you can see all the content files AND default.xbe (hint for mike1126) then just copy them across to your pc and your away.

When you backup a game on the xbox hd, how do you know which ones are the demos....i don't want to put those in.

Demos are usually in a xdemos folder. Delete that folder manually from ur xbox hdd drive or b4 u ftp to it if ur using evox
