    Default Behind Enemy Lines

Well i know i was a little slow to watch this film but.....WOW.

i really enjoyed this film from start to finish.....and with Owen Wilson too! - i must admit i didnt expect to much from this, so what i did get was a great suprise.

film basically revolves around a us navy pilot whos plane goes down "behind enemy lines" believe it or not! then its the ensuing mission to find it to a safe zone.......needless to say countless things happen along the way to make it difficult for him.

Yes thats one of the bits . But also the actual situation has been unfairly tweaked to suit the americans

This movie should be in the comedy section. Laughable and unrealistic. I'm sure Gene Hackman is embarrassed about doing this one.

Isn't that always the case when they make movies.

The scene where he falls in to the mass grave was well done and left me feeling a deep sense of revulsion at what man is capable of. The scene where he runs through the exploding factory dodging everyhthing the "BADIES" can throw at him was laughable!! A film of contrasting screen writing talents ?

I have to say it also reminded me of a much better film of a similar type which also stars Gene Hackman - BAT 21. Now THAT is a cracking film and is very closely based on what really happened to Hackmans character in Vietnam. Well worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
DONUTS :) ------ Is there anything they can't do ??
