Paypal gift doesn't work anymore somebody has to take the cost

it does work if its taken from your balance or bank account. It does not work if you are taking the money stright from a credit card.

I suspect things have changed recently - I sent money to my cousin today as a gift - £95 +£3.odd fees - no way I could get round the fees - in the past I've just used gift and there have been no fees - my paypal is straight to my bank account as well

i sent £20 this morning as i bought something of another forum and it didnt charge me

I think that it does not charge at all if it is from paypal credit, anything else charges now i think.
