think I am posting bad threads

Hi,
This is for an mods out there the last 2 posts I have made seem to be corrupting themselves - they go wrong when I post the start of a config file for Xbox Mediaplayer 6 the first line of this is.

I have added some *** to hopefully stop it form doing it again.

Is there an issue with this ?

yeag noticed this problem on my thread fe_man2000. I tried to post and even though I posted last- I cannot see my post and it stops half way through your post......

it's because the board is reading the config as html tags

OK here is a quick guide to making a DVDR Movie disk using Mediaplayer 6.

Once you have got mediaplayer 6 on your PC and unzipped it it looks like

this (BOLD = A FOLDER, lowercase = a file)

MEDIA
xbpskin.xml
xbpconfig.xml <<<< this is important.
catalogue.xml <<<< this is important.
default.xbe

Inside the media folder are 2 other folders

VIDEO
PICTURES
a load of file which you can ignore.

Movies all go in the VIDEO folder, and you can put a picture for each

movie in the PICTURE folder if you want (they must be 60x90 pixels max in

size) but its not needed if you cant be bothered.

Once you have done this edit the catalogue.xml. Each movie must have an

entry in the catalog file so the mediaplayer can see it. Here is an

example, always starts it and always ends each entry.

IMPORTANT
enteries must be lowercase. - this is how the player finds the movies so

the entry must be a word or part of a word that is in the title of your

movie file

Example -
Blackhawk down.avi >>>>> black

Just make sure there is no other movies with black in the file name.
