    Hard disc repairs

Anyone know of any companies that will fix broken harddiscs ? I have 1 drive that doesn't power up and another drive that powers up but not been recognised by the bios (tried it on a few computers).

Its 180 gig of disc space which the majority of I can afford to lose (mp3's, games etc), but some of the data is work stuff which I could do with not losing.

You will need to do a search for data recovery companies in your area - there not cheap so its only worth it if the data is vital. You only lose data like this once, I did and now I assume that whats on the HD could be lost with no notice and keep a backup on another drive and on DVDR.

Are you willing to pay? Is the data worth it?

The average cost of hd data recovery is about $3000 CAN!!!!!!

    hxbro,

Give these guys a call, They should be able to help and they should give you a quote for a fixed inspection fee before doing any actual work on the drives.

They do all the Disk & Tape supplies and repairs for my company.
