Any car as long as you stay away from fords
well i quite fancied a cossie but i dont know now!
I reckon even a corsa sri will cost too much to insure m8...
It's your 1st car so I assume you have zero no claims..
Run anything that says sri on its arse and the insurers will have you....
Since you want something quick and that handles, it all depends how much you wana spend on insurance.
Let us know how much you can spend, then we can give you an idea??

id get sommit that you could learn to drive in first, and i know you have probly passed your test but why dose it have to be fast? why not get some road sense first?whats the hurry?lol. theres plenty of cars out there without gti sri ect badges on em that are cool and fast enough for a new addition to the rat race(drivers)

just got quoted £1456 on a Seat Arosa 1.4 sporting
what u guys think of them?
fakin hell £320 for a bmw 520 for me just got quoted £900 for an m3 comparing that to yours it must be cheap
Well Im 17, I have a 306 1.4 M reg. And Im paying bout £1400 as a named driver!!!!
But I love the car, so Im happy paying it.
My m8 is 19 and he has a corsa 1.4 Sri an he's paying £600
i dont care about the insurance and cars gonna be high as 0 no claims! anything under 1500 is ok
any good insurance companies thats will insure me cheap?
i found tesco insurance the cheapest m8. try them online.
i personally recommend vauxhall, so corsa would be a good choice, ive currently got a mk3 astra. but afew of my mates have cavs. fords tend to be unreliable but rs turbos are fun.
i drove a 1.2 corsa 16v the other day. its roomy itsok off the mark and it does 90 easy on the motorway, i dont really need anything more than that.

For insurance try eggmotor, I tried them just before my last renewal came around. I have an mgf vvc and saved £130 on my policy - more or less the same policy. I was previously with admiral. If you do decide to take some insurance from egg take my advice and pay with an egg card (it's worth getting one because...) you get something like 20% off the price.
Getting a quote from there is a piece-a-cake anyway so just try it and see. If you save £££ just buy me a beer or say thanks
No sympathy for the devil; keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride...
what about a turbo diesel?
corsa,
peugeot 306,
nova ,
vectra,
golf,
cheap to run,not sure about insurance side though?
and you can always get it chipped and put a dump valve on at a later date?
I got my first car in august and got my best quote from directline, they gave me a free 1 year no claims bonus to start with as a new customer
Bikes.....Better than women because you can ride your mates and yours won't get upset!
