Default Windows 7, original copy vs activation

Im thinking of buying Windows 7, a mate of mine is going to put halfs towards.
now with XP you could use WPA crack after you installed a legit copy of XP to activate the operating system.

for example: windows/MS only lets you activate their software around 10/15 times even if its legit, after this amount you have to pish about ringing MS to get it reset. but if you installed with an original cd/license key THEN used the WPA crack it updated and had no problems for years (been using mine this way for years)

is the new windows 7 similar, i dont really want to remove anything but if its possible to make the OS think that its activated. the reason being is i update my pc hardware often and as a result when i re-install it counts on MS's systems. eventually they want me to ring a number in india so i can be on the line 3 hours repeating the same thing to over 30 helpline staff then eventually after about £50 in calls later get the problem sorted.

is the wat removal neccessary? is there any easy way to activate a legit copy after the install limit has been reached?

When I've reactivated it's been via an 0800 number the process has been completely automated, no need to speak to anyone, takes about 5 minutes.

Last time i did it was about 2 years ago with Vista and it was Automated then.
And it was a free phone number, and i posted it on here somewhere.

Iv,e been using Win 7 Pro for months now with remove WAT and had no problems so far, even get the Updates.
if they close this hole i will do the automated line again, never had a problem with it.
What are they going to say at worst, sorry its not genuine then you say shit iv,e been conned LOL
