sorry to tell you, but this has been common knowelege for quite a while, you can buy them pre made from lan-kwei.com but these cables are only for jap / american cubes, you can use a normal scart on a pal cube

Slightly off topic, but what does the other port on the GC do. The digital one?? I've seen no cable in stores for it, and I've got nothing here that fits it. Currently I use the official RGB scart in the other port. Just interested what the digital one is for.

the digital out is for the few tv's that have a digital component in.....

the rgb scart doesnt work on jap/ntsc so you need to grab a rgb from the component out and get the audio from the normal av out. component cables are very expensive

    Hi

Just looked at this site and it says (lan-kwei.com)

    SCART-RGB CABLE
    - connects your Gamecube to any TV with Scart-RGB output
    - also for N64 and SNES/SFC
Note: Normally, the GC as well as the N64 and SNES does not support RGB output. A modification on the mainboard has to be done to properly use this cable.

Does anyone know what the mod is to the mainboard ??

and can you get the lead in the uk ?

Is there anyway to get VGA Out in the PAL Gamecube yet?? I take my GC in to work with me some nights, but we only have one telly so it would be great to plug it into one of the 15" LCD Monitors we've got here.

I know about the upscan doodahs, but I dont really want to fork out alot of cash for something I wont use that often.

Surely as the PAL version supports RGB as standard VGA should be fairly easy to do?
