Ted 'Rocco Rock' Petty passes away

Ted Petty, better known as Rocco Rock, one half of The Public Enemy tag team, passed away yesterday evening. He was 49.

Petty had just worked a match in New Jersey against ex-WCW star Crowbar, and was scheduled to work another match later against Gary Wolfe, when he suffered what is thought to be a massive heart attack. A particularly sad turn of events as he was due to get married in October

The Public Enemy were most fondly remembered for their time in ECW, and also had stints in WCW and WWF.
