Elephant Hawk Moth

Having seen some of the pictures that are being submitted ( All of them are great and provide inpirations for taking new shots ) I thought I would start and add a few myself.

I have been slowly getting the photography bug for the last 18 Months.

the picture below was taken in my garden last august using :

Canon EOS 450D, and a Tamaron 200mm Lense.




Any feedback welcome.

Focus missed or a bit of camera shake, or a combination of both. Either way it spoils the shot. Colours are nice but I reckon getting above the dude shooting down would have given the shot more impact.

Is that the f2.8 Macro, or the F3.5 non-Macro lens? If it's the 3.5 (in which case you've probably crop enlarged outside the focus range), then you've done pretty well even to get that...

i am no macro expet but a good 1st attempt, it is i little blurry i would think you was a bit close if it has no macro mode, just keep going practise makes perfect..
