Any info on Satellites covering Australia

Hello All,

First time on the satellite board

A few years ago I got a satellite internet service here in Australia, it was modem uplink but luckily enough satellite downlink. When it started I got fairly fast downloads and I could be online 24/7.
However that all changed, the ISP started to limit the time and imposed quota on downloads. To cut a long story short, I moved to ADSL and am left with $1000 ( australian ) worth of satellite gear.

Namely a satellite dish and a PCI computer card satellite receiver made by www.telemann.com model Skymedia-200.

This card can receive both data and video, it even has a smart card reader and IR remote control with RCA outputs for video and audio.

Basically I am after satellite positions and frequencies and any other info for satellites covering Melbourne, Australia. Are there any "free to air" programes out there?

Try some of the sats listed under Asia onLyngsat .

You may be able to recieve them in Oz and all channel listings and encryptions/free to air status are listed.
