cd writing with xp
loaded the service pack for xp about a week ago but now i seem to be having problems writing cd's reads ok on nero gets to about 4% and then hangs. tried clone cd and this writes a bit more but still fails. I installed some aspi drivers before upgrading to xp service pack and this seemed ok. tried the same after xp serv pack but still no joy. Any ideas appreciated.

try gettin newer version of nero 5.5.9.6 works for me
no problems !!
tried 5.5.9.14 still same
try uninstalin old nero from reg edit and program files and get .5.5.9.6 i know ts not the new new version but it works ok
for me might b something else
how do you uninstall from reg edit? do you just delete all references to nero
