ISP Tiscali, formerly LineOne in the UK, is slashing the price of its broadband product to �19.99 per month. The move, which the company insists is permanent, could spark a price war in the fiercely competitive ISP sector. Tiscali�s price is way below that offered by the other main ISPs, although its service promises speeds of just 256K - five times faster than a traditional modem, but half the speed of rivals� broadband offerings.

For another �3 per month you can double the downstream speed to 512k with other ISP's.

Has anyone used Tiscali on their boradband service, either the new �19.99 128K connection or the �27.00 521K connection. Just wondered what sort of service they give as I am looking to go to ADSL soon. Thanks

I wouldnt use Tiscali. I used to work for Lineone - and since they sold it has gone way downhill - look at their support forums here and you will see they have quite a few complaints.
