Got a New DVD-R/RW drive

I dunno what happen to the thread but anywayz.
Yeah I got my girl and my mom to both get me a DVD-burner for my b-day.

Anywayz it worked out like this.

Girl gets me a Sony-DRU500A which burns DVD-R/RW and DVD+R/RW
Mom gets me a Toshiba-SDR-5002 which is a DVD-R only drive.

My biggest thing is which one to keep.
Obviously the sony sounds nice on paper but someone told me that it has piracy issues ie (you cant or wont beable to back up xbox games.
I dont know how true that is thats why im asking.

The Toshiba drive is from what I understand alot better than most DVD-R drives avaliable. Just looking for input.

Ok no dvd drive will backup xbox games (original that is) and if its true the sony one will burn dvd-r AND dvd+r then keep it. The toshiba wont burn dvd-rw? thats strange, anyways i would keep the sony.

yeah my girl got it from Dell.
Seems like Dell got a gang of them before they were
released and she got the lil mag they send in the mail.
Not knowing dvd burner from the next she just got the *new*
one and ordered it. I havent gotten it yet but its on its way.
Dell said it should ship within a week.
So imma just send the Toshiba back from where my mom ordered it.
Its hard for me not to open the box and test this bad boi but ill just wait. Cause I dont want them to give me no shit about not being
able to get money back or what not. Oh the toshiba is a -r/rw drive i left that out on mistake.

If you want to check out the Sony drive go to the dell site and search for dru500a and it will come up.
