Nokia 6210 Unlocking

Hi All,
forgive me if this is in the wrong place or already done please point in right direction.
I have a 6210 & standard nokia data cables DLR-3P. And win XP/98/2000 on dif machines
can I unlock this handsets with this cable or do I need another type. I've tried lots of the software here with no luck phone not attached type messages however with the nokia software I can do all the normal stuff phone is connected & recognised.
Please help

The data cable you are using is a "FBUS" cable, you need to use either a "MBUS" cable & use a prog like "Eepromtools" or get a LPT(printer port) cable and flash the phone. The easiest method is with the MBUS cable, its simple, and u have little chance of damaging ur phone, do a search on the forum for NOKIA 6210, i'm sure u'll find details on how to do it.

If this is just a once off thing, u'd probably be better off getting someone on here, near to you, to do it for you.

Thanks DM,
but which cables would I need from that vast list I dont have a datakit or flaser what ever they are :-) but what can I use just from a laptop serial port.
