Ftp to Xbox Hard Drive

Hopefully someone can offer some advice. When I ftp into the box and copy a game to my pc's hard drive it get 2000k - 3000k no problem.
When I ftp from the pc to the box's hard drive i only get 40k. So this takes a very long time for me to upload a game onto the box's hard drive to play. Any idea on how to make this faster?

I have a linksys 4 port switch and it's set for 100 meg

use Xbcopy (installed on the xbox HDD)- you will need to write the games to a CDRW or DVDRW but depending on how long that takes you coudl save a lot of time.

thanks for the feedback...but I do want to burn anymore dvds. I just want to upload the game and play from the hard drive. I got a 120 gb drive in my box so I have plenty of room for games.

I'm using a straight through cable...would it be faster if i went to a crossover cable and eliminated the switch? Just do a direct connection from the pc to the box?

Just figured it out...I need to use FlashFXP to upload games to the box...I was using Bulletproof FTP and it is not fast for uploading to the xbox.
With FlashFXP I get 2000k+ for speed as opposed to 40k with Bulletproof FTP
