Should I Buy A Modchip

With all of the rumors going around about M$ changing their xboxes to check for mods and them asking game makers to check for mods. Technically if you put in a bigger harddrive they could check for that too(don't see how you could stop them from doing the hardrive space available(bigger than original)

Just wanted to get peoples thought on this before I buy a modchip.

I do have one of the origanl boxes(not the new ones coming out).
the main thing is if they get game makers to check also.

A modchip is an essential addon to the xblox - definately.

yeah totally agree there it is DEFFO a must have, especially for all the homebrew stuff out now and lots to come in future no doubt.

an xbox without a mod is like a bird without ANY tits (LOL)

oh if your worried about them building protection into future games to detect mods, then just fit or get a switch fitted m8, when you play the original game flick the switch, sorted.

Mod chips are wrong and personally I shall be turning myself in as soon as Halo 4 comes out.

If so what kind of hack(if any) could show a false harddrive size.

hhhhhmmm interesting question, wonder if they coould, maybe they could check for the fatx on the drive, but im no techno wizzard so i dont know if this is possible, someone else will be able to answer this tho.
