    Default FS 2 Magnesium Sub-Notebooks

I have 2 Dell LS sub-notebooks, Magnesium cased.
One of them is under Dell warranty until mid 2003 and has had practically everything replaced, it's more or less a brand new laptop.
These are about the same thickness as a DVD case and roughly the same size as 2 DVD cases side by side and don't weigh much.

All these were replaced by Dell warranty in the last 3 weeks on the PIII-400:

Keyboard, touchpad, modem/LAN, PCMCIA reader, Top LCD housing, LCD, Motherboard, Top casing (Palmrest etc) and fan.
It still has the protective plastic on the casing which you can see in the pics.

The other Dell is the same model with a PIII-500 CPU and is in superb condition too.
Neither of these come with CDROM drives or Floppy drives (Like most subs) but will accept them through either PCMCIA or USB ports.

    56k modem
10/100 LAN With TFTP Boot support
    USB port
    Mic/Spkr sockets
    VGA out
    Parallel
    KB/Mouse port
    12.1" TFT
    Externat CD/Floppy port
    PCMCIA slot
    Int HDD caddy.
    Flashed with latest BIOS
    Kensington lock port.
    Can take 256MB

Highest offer takes on or both, don't think you'll offend me - just make an offer.
    These aren't cheap machines.

Whats the spec on these? I know they are a PIII-400 and a PIII-500, but what about RAM and Hard drive size? Could be interested in the two, if you can give me a rough idea of price and full spec!

the PIII-500 went for £700, I still have the PIII-400, it's 128mb mem, 20GB HDD, it's practically a brand new machine with Dell warranty until 21/09/2003
Looking for £550 or best offer.
