end of the day we get screwed by the software companys
hence look at the uk then the usa
the usa is a lot cheaper
if i like the program and think its worth it it might be worthing buying
but hey wait after a year its out of date
oh well back to trying trail software again

prices need to come down in the uk for us all

I buy good games, GTA3 is a good example as its a game I just couldnt put down. (Which is why Ive pre-ordered the new one.)

However I dont think Ill ever pay up for an XBox game on principle!

I hate people who brag that they can get this and that and the other and sell it for a fiver or whatever - trying toi make out they know their shit

I can proudly say I never sold one pirate disc in my life - i'm not against distributing warez for free - its the money side thats for losers

I use warez soley as a means of testing. My practice is if I play a warez'd copy for more than 2 days then it's got to be worth the purchase.

Anyone who is playing UT2003 online with the ISO atm should be shot, it's a awesome game that well deserves the money. Anyone who says otherwise is blind.

i download movies and microsoft stuff, but if it's an awesome game like command+conquer series/wolfenstein etc i buy it.

nothing m$ has brought out yet has been good stuff

as for halo it sucked big time on the xbrick (those damned feindish aliens trying to confuse the humans by making all the levels look the same

If I would play it alot or online then I buy it, otherwise I only look, dabble then never touch it again. I'm not paying �30 - �40 for a 10 minute look!

In my head, I always read it "wheres".

I think if it's a good piece of programming then it's worth the money...

Hence the only s/w I've paid for since owning a pc is half life and linux.

When I used to buy game's I think I enjoyed them more!

Having half of HMV's game department on my HD somewhat takes the fun out of them, i.e I get bored easily and move on to the next big title.

Two good points from earlier in the thread:

1. Most of the time I wouldn't have them if they were not free

2. Selling warez for profit is taking the piss too much.

Anyway.. I still fu***ing love it!
