    Default wavebird disappointing

I've had a wavebird for a while now and have to say i'm not too impressed with it.

Far too many times it skips a beat and in a game like mario etc thats crucial.

Its not too bad when I'm in the same room as the cube but I was led to beleive it would work from any room in the house and when using it one room away from the cube it starts to get a bit tetchy!

Anyone else notice any problems? Probably not as most will be using it in the same room as the cube i guess?

    Default Wavebird

Its an RF wireless device, i think its tops, and only weighs 10% more than a normal pad.

I dont use it in other rooms, as i find the walls seem to get in the way of my eyes

its a 2.4ghz wireless controller (16 channel), just as comfortable as a standard pad (slightly bulkier), good battery life, DOES NOT have a rumble feature (to save batteries)

    Oh and its white.

I wonder if my batts are a bit low then?

do you get an indication of the batts running down, the red light dimming etc?

I am still on my first set....

I have several rooms in my house all wired up to my AV REceiver set up etc, it allows me to put whatever signal I want to whatever tv I want and the various sets of speakers etc.

bobby, the battery light dims before the unit runs out, but range is reduced prior to that.

The main reason that the Wavebirds dont have the rumble feature is not because of battery life, it is to cut down the price as you would have to have a receiver in the pad and a transmitter on the cube.
    p.s

you can now buy PS2 wireless pads with Rumble from Goblin games but they are £54
