    Default System Spannered

I put together a dual boot (Win98 & Win 2000) PC for me brother who is a bit of a novice.

It is a 1Ghz Duron in a Gigabyte motherboard 133Mhz FSB, 32Gb IBM Hardrive which had 256Mb PC100 Ram.

I kindly got him a 512Mb PC133 module and installed it and kept the old RAM and set the FSB to 133Mhz and everything was dreamy.

Now he is yanking my chain as the system keep stalling, first within an hour or so and he had to reboot everytime. Now it happens within a few minutes and this is in both OS's.

    Has anyone any ideas? Please
