what release are you playing? is there a demo out?
Ever since playing on Pro Evo, FIFA games became crap to me. But I will give fifa 2003 a try as it is good as an alternative footie game, even though they usually are unrealisitc in about 100 ways.

the last fifa i liked was world cup 98, thats when i got into iss games, coming from someone who plays W11 all the time still (me : ) fifa 2003 is one superb football game!!! put your pro evos and W11 games back in the draw will take some crowbar to get fifa 2003 out your consoles/pc's

nice of you Gav but i aint got broadband , but have not seen anything from fifa games to make me change my mind , until i play a decent fifa game, iss games still hold the footy crown.

but i hope that this fifa game plays like the hype as im desperate for a decent footy game on the PC

What is Evo?
What is w11/pro evo? Or is it the same?
Is it a PC game?

I like Fifa alright, really anxious for 2003... love it... but also interested in other games, so maybe there is a little gem I know nothing about...

w11 = winning 11 on ps2
both the same game, w11 is just the japanise version of pro evo, with some differences tho
they used to kill the fifa games!!!
now they suck compaired to fifa 2003

just plyed the demo, its not bad for FIFA. Hard to tell if it'll be good tho as I was playing on the keyboard and took me a while to adjust to the controls.....

I haven't tried any yet though. Looks like u can have up to 10 min halfs if u want. Plus there are many other bits n pieces u can change.

I found them through google. Typed in various things to do with Fifa etc... most of the sites were Fan sites for the Fifa games and most were not in english.
I've just tried one and it works good... I really prefer the gameplay of 2003 to the older games. EA finally working out what we wanna play, give them a few more years and they might actually crack it... perhaps i'm too hopefull?
