Default Moving house - can I take my dsl with me?

    Hiya guys,

had pipex dsl for about 5 months now and am moving house next month, has anyone else moved during their initial 12month dsl contract. I guess I'll have to pay for my connection to be 'turned on' at the exchange, but can I just transfer my pipex account?

    thanks in advance

I moved my connection with plus.net, I had to pay my activation fee again, but other than that it wasn't a problem, only took 48 hours too

As far as Pipex are concerned you have to pay the disconnection fee (£58.75) if you have not served the 12 month minimum and then pay again for the line to be activated in your new place (you still get to keep your account though).

    EDIT:
The disconnection fee of £58.75 only applies if you had the free activation (first 40,000 customers), if you had to pay for the activation the first time around then you only pay to be activated in the new property.
