My clutch cable has just snapped again for about the 4th time in a year and a half.
Does anyone know if there is a fault with this particular model that maybe Renault have acknowledged and have a replacement part or something.
Please help me as I will have to look for a new car if I cant get this sorted.

Does it snap at the pedal end.
If it has have the garage or who ever replaced the cable renewed the white clip that is on the top of the pedal which the cable attaches, i know sometimes you can just put the cable back on but does not last very long. Renaults? French S**T

Yes mate clios do have clutch cable problems. It's all caused by the auto adjuster on the pedal. Get a new pedal fitted (about £18 + vat which is cheap for a renualt) They come as a kit complete with new auto adjuster and easy to fit...if you know what your doing that is.
