Replacement LCD for 3G S?

My LCD cracked a month or so ago, at first it was invisible but now I have lines of dead pixels. All I need is the LCD, the digitiser and case is all undamaged.

Is the 3G screen the same spec as the 3G S? On ebay 3G S displays are �45-60 but 3G displays are only �25! I thought they were the same but I am not sure. Any recommendations where to get the part for a reasonable price?

Not the same mate the connectors are different,
You will need the 3gs one
Theres a seller on ebay doing em for �38

please make sure you dont use a screwdriver to lift the front use tomtom sucker or something

yes when openeing the iphone use a sucker once u have removed the 2 screws, be gentle when doing this, sometimes u can rip the docking flex cable if it has become stuck to the lcd frame if you are too rough.
when remvoing the lcd you wann remove the 5-6 screws then down the side of it between the frame and lcd slide a stanley down it and do this for both sides you will find the lcd pops out with minimum fuss
