Default Videogames are a rip off?

Please support the "dont buy games week" by visiting here http://www.fairplay-campaign.co.uk/ and signing their online petition.

I realise that not everyone on here actualy pays for their games, but maybe a few more would if the latest titles cost less than £20 instead of £40

    Thank you

(this will be cross posted to gaming forums as well as the dog and duck as the idea of giving the ripping off *******s a kick in the wallet is such a good idea )

I think 25 quid is about right for a game personally.

I paid 25 quid for UT2K3 which suited me just fine. All depends on the game tho.

    LoL

I don't have any issues with the prices what comes to games, if I like it, I'll buy it.. just to get my arse online, lol... thank fook theres not that many out there worth gettin anyways. But what should be taken under consideration is the ripoff we have to pay every 6 months... by upgrading our systems to be able to play the games with decent speeds... a good example of a total ripoff was battlefield 1942... you need a highend computer to make it run smooth... (conspiracy theory:gamemakers had a deal with gfx card manufacturers) got a geforce 4 Ti4200 in and still the game looks like crap, lol... feel like been cheated big time...

Hmmm... a new theme... dont buy new gfx cards for a year, lol... maybe they settle then

Well for a start Games don't cost £40 :rolls: I recently paid £29.99 for Battlefield 1942 and £24 for UT2k3.

Decent games are worth paying for.........I can understand people get pissed off when they pay for a game that gets good reviews.....when it turns out to be utter shite.

Me, I download games that I'm not to sure about and if they are any good I buy them. Maffia was a prime example.....great reviews etc but IMO it was a sack of tits, so I deleted it. Battlefield I downloaded and was so impressed I bought it.
