problem with xodus modchip please help

I program the modchip and put it inte xbox.
(256k.Evx2.5.colormod.err.bin) bios
The green light was flashing
I switched to mode 3 where it is suppose
to come up with matrix bios and to
switch ask you hit hte eject button.

My problem is that it does not recognize the media that I stick in.
I have tried IMation(CD-RW), Verbatim(DVD+RW), and
Phillips(DVD+RW).

Can someone please help with suggestions etc.
