    Help problem

Hi guys just got a wii in to fix today that some numpty has tried to softmod i've no idea what he has done but theres nothing on the screen its not even black seems to be no video or audio output at all, remotes wont synq either. It accepts disc's and spins them but just wont display anything. Is there a way i can put in a wiiikeyed drive and restore this back to factory defaults via disc or is it totally bricked
    Cheers in advance Terry

I have one like that i think there is no way to fix by disc but it could be the bluetooth on the wii they can cause this problem if it is bricked i have been told it needs to restored by an infectus chip somehow i dont know the ins and outs of it and i cant solder so it is a no go for me if anyones knows anyone that does this please let me know but if i were u i would check your bluetooth inside the wii can you turn the wii on via the wii remote and then they dont sync or do they just not sync as mine would turn it on but not sync once the wii was switched on.

yeah mine is the same mate my idiot brother thought he was being clever with mine and uninstalled iso 70 the fuckying muppet and now it is a brick unless i can find someone that can recover them with this infectus chip. Did you dump the nand mate as i didnt i think there are ways to fix them if you have a nand back up as mine was chipped i didnt back mine up as i didnt think i would be messing around with it.

No idea mate as it was give to me in this state to see if i could repair it. I've trolled the net for hours looking for a cure tbh i don't like the softmod side of things would rather solder somthng in any day then i know its going to work. But as this is the first i've seen like this i'd like to find a cure for the next one i get as theres always a muppet somwhere that thinks he can do this stuff. As you say the only cure might be the infectus
