hercules prophet 4000xt pci 64MB

i just bin and bought me a hercules prophet 4000xt pci 64MB gfx card! (i had to buy a pci as i got no agp prot (bummer)

the problem i got is, i installed wolvenstein and mohaa and when i tried to play them they just played the intro then went extremely slow, the music going on and off, mouse cursor taking 5-6 minutes to move!

the result was i had to restart p.c i couldnt alt-tab outta it or alt-f4 had to restart with the power button!

i tried updating the drivers but i get an error saying that i dont have a kyro card fitted, i also tried e-mailing hercules but there e-mail page dont even work!

personally you need to get a new mainboard with a agp slota nd get yourself an Ati card ot Gforce 2,3,4 card.

wot are your system specs because boards without an agp slot are way old and you really neeed to upgarde if you want to play the new games which are out.

Plus gfx are no longer supported

i just recently bought my p.c from pc world!

spec is:
packard bell challenger motherboard
1.4GHZ intel celeron
40 gig h/d
384mb sdram



i got home opened the p,c up and found no agp port
just 3 pci slots and a brown Communications Network Riser slot (shared with pci slot 3)

how long you had if not long can u exchange it pc world have some good bargain pcs with geforce 2 or 4 graphics
make sure u buy a pc wot does your needs . but most workers at pc world aint got a clue lol.
