Default Games keep crashing to desktop

Im hoping someone could help me fix my problem.

    My PC Spec is:

    Pentium 4 2.4GHz,
    512MB DDR Ram,
Inno3D GeForce4 Ti4200 128mb Ram (with newest windows certified drivers),
Windows XP Pro (with Service Pack 1 installed).

And everytime i play games (for intance its happend on Mafia, Hitman 2, Soldier of Fortune 2) they keep crashing after i get about 30mins to 1 hour of playing them. They just crash straight to the desktop and the PC runs as if nothing happened, no error message nothing.

Has anyone else had this problem? and does anyone know how to fix it?

    Thanks for any help.

Yep same here m8, dodgy ram.
What i did as a temp solution was reduce the clock speed in the bios down from 133 to 100.

It does sound like the RAM. Instead of clocking it down tho', if you can try upping the voltage to the RAM a notch, that will probably help.

There should be an option in the BIOS. The default voltage for DDR is 2.5, so try 2.6.

I went into the BIOS setup, and the the only thing i found with the value 2.5 was SDRAM Latency but it only gave me the choice of changing it to 2.0 or 2.5. Am i looking at the right thing?

    Thanks

Nope that's a completely different thing. It might not actually show 2.5v, but there should be an option somewhere to raise the memory voltage. What mobo do you actually have?
