sim registration failed

can anyone help? i have 2 8210's both on 02 network they have suddenly stopped working, all i get is " sim registration failed "
message when i turn phones on, they work ok when i put
t mobile card in. Both phones have had software upgrades,
any ideas? any help much appreciated.

imei needs changing as they are probly ex contract and are blocked on o2 rolis should sort it

i heard that some new O2 pay as u go sims people got free, are coming up as sim failed,

make sure u check em guys

Whose your service provider, if its singlepoint just go into a phones 4 u store and they'll give u a new sim card and register it (it'll cost �20 or free if u give them your old sim that u no longer have use for anyway)

i doubt they are blocked as o2 doesnt block their fones, neither do voda. like theodotcom said, depends on ya service provider. although, most o2 shops have sims for other servivce provider now. go to an o2 shop and they should give u a new sim for free and then get them to call customer services to transfer ya sim details over, its done in under an hour

I was given a 8310 to look at by some one at work.
Its been unlocked but it says sim card registration failed.
Its was originaly on orange but she is using it on O2.
My vodaphone sim works though.
Could it be barred off orange and O2 ( Havent a Tmobile card to try) or could it be a problem with the unlocking.
The O2 card however works in my 8210.

Most likely is that the phone is barred on 02. I had an 8210 yesterday where all the other network sims were working fine apart from o2 and the o2 sim was working fine in another 2 phones !!

They hav both been claimed on and are therefore barred.

Don't go round telling everybody that you've changed the imei no, as it is COMPLETELY ILLEGAL !!!!

I found a 8310 the other day was woring fine now says Sim crd Registration failed i unblocked but still the same it looks like it was o orange befor i trying to use a o2 and orange any1 help me? thnaks

oops! did i say i changed im**, what i meant was i changed software in fones and maybe the im** no's may have changed too, which seemed to fix problem
