Default port forwarding .. how ???

I am trying to set up a dedicated UT2003 server in a linux box and as I do not have the reddies to buy a DSL router, I need to port forward the relevant ports from my XP box (where the DSL modem is plugged in) to my linux box.

I have tried the relevant settings in the networking sections of xp and they DO NOT WORK so therefore i need a software solution.

can someone please recommend any decent port forwarding software and also any other tips/tricks ??

I understand that I need to forward 7777 and 7778 for the game to work and some others if I want admin etc.

    come on you networking gurus

    thanks,

Why not use a proxy server like wingate, install the server portion on your winxp box and then map the ports to the IP of your linux box. Get version 4.5 as this includes support for XP.
