Dual Boot Help

I currently have w2000 and I have a few old games that run on w98.

Do i have to create a dual boot?
If so how easy is it to do, without losing all the data/software I have on my hard disk already? - i.e is it poss to install something that will enable me to play my old games sometimes..?

Try This.

Create a icon on your desktop for the old game.

Right Click on the icon and select PROPERTIES

then Click on the COMPATIBILITY tab and select the compatible O/S that you want to program to run under..

Might not work but worth trying.

W2000 does not have this option it seems to only come with XP...

Perhaps I need to upgrade!

its no prob making a dual boot just make sure wen u install w2000 you do a new installation so everytime you boot up it will ask you whether you want to use w2000 or win 98 i gt xppro,98,me,w2000 on my boot up

You could buy a partitioning prog so you don't loose all your files, etc. If you don't want 2 pay for a prog just borrow 1 from sum1 or buy it, copy it and take it bk.

Hmmm.... I need to double check as I am running W2000 Pro too.

Is there an setting I have to adjust or do I have to go in as administrator? I should have admin rights already.

What version of W2000 are you running, do I need to perhap install the latest SP?
