Freaky, could you ask your mate for me? I have one of the first chips and wanna have a new one so i can upgrade the hdd and if poss pop in the ybox thingy (after reading all the trouble with xbox live and evo x)

It would be great if he could re-chip it as i am only 15 mins from ealing

UPdate: Just called them, they only do PSone and Gamecubes, but the guy i spoke to did say that they will be doing xbox in a couple of weeks.

Chip them, prob the jap/ntsc one as i dont think there is a Pal chip yet.

they chip them to play import originals i think, as you cannot play backups on a cube yet, there is no chip to do this.

Yeah, it will be the US\JAP switch. You only have to fit a switch, theres no chip involved. (Have to love Nintendo, though its a shame they didnt do it with the PAL version.)
