    Improve Sound on PC

    Hi,

I'm getting pretty bored of the sub Woofer and speaker sound on my PC now - it just doesn't seem loud enough anymore!

Anyway, I wanna get a more powerful sound system for the PC - without linking up to a hi fi.

Anyone got any suggestions? I was thinking a big car sub woofer and maybe an amp? But would this fit into the pc?

    Any help appreciated... thanks.

    Regards

Logitech Z560 is what you want.
A true 400W RMS Output and enough bass to destroy your internal organs for good!!!

    Default Seperate

    Quality NOT quantity!!

If you want to have a QULAITY sounding & looking stereo(WITH VOLUME) then I would suggest the following pieces of Kit.

    £119 .95 AMP = Cambridge Audio A5 Silver (50W RMS)
    Info @ http://www.richersounds.com

    £79.95 SPEAKERS = Mission M72 Beech (100W Shielded)
    Info @ http://www.richersounds.com

Their is NO WAY that you will find a set of PC speakers under £200 that will come ANYWHERE near the quality of the sound that this amp and speakers will produce, the missions are shielded so that you can place them right next too your monitor for perfect stereo positioning. If you decide to use a separate AMP & speakers make sure you use decent OFC speaker cable and OFC gold plated Y-adapter (3.5mm Jack ------> 2x Phono).

I have listened to loads of PC speakers EVEN very expensive ones (£200+) & can say that they don't sound HALF as good as my Tannoy's and NAD C320BEE AMP.

Buy seperates mate they sound Sooooooo MUCH BETTER.

Well i have a creative FPS1600 and although its an old model and not "the ultimate in hi-fi purity", it gives a pretty decent loud enough sound through 4 channels. I dont know if they still have them but they had them refurbished at £20 which i think is a bargain at http://www.ebuyer.com
    Definitely worth the £20

Looking to spend no more than £100 really. Wouldn't I need a new soundcard too? Not sure which I got atm, but it ain't nothing special.

    Any other recommendations anyone?

well there is a 5.1 set ( cambridge theatre works) DTT 2100

about 190-200 CAN so in ur price range, that uses a standard jack that is used with a 5.1 compatible card, if u have a soundblaster live card just connect it to the yellow jack in the back
