sat d/l might be quick.. but its expensve and your upload will be on a 56k modem.

as for the fastest dsl provider.. try http://www.adslguide.org.uk/

but its like saying 'How long is a piece of string'

You're not going to get anything faster upload wise than 256kbit/s without paying lots of cash. Download wise, you can get 2mbit/s adsl connection - you'll be paying a lot more than you do for a 1mbit/s blueyonder connection.

Satelllite should only be got on a last resort, most of the sat connections rely on a normal dial up connection for sending data, recieving data is fast, but you have a high latency on a sat connection.

For prices/comparisons for adsl have a look at www.adslguide.org.uk - an example of price is my 2mbit adsl connection from plus.net which costs 129.99/month inc vat

Unless you want to pay £150+ per month then stick with Blueyonder.

The fastest ADSL for home connections is 512kbit/s and a 2mbit is Hugely over priced as its meant for company use.

Give it up and Stick with blueyonder, If there is no cable where you are moving too then Don't move
