im looking to buy a camcorder but i dont know which one, i want to film holidays and edit them and add music and titles ETC

what is the best way to edit films, via pc?

also what is a good camcorder, im also looking for night vision on it and a light

i hope someone can help this as got me thinking

also how much would editing software cost?

also whats the best, VHS or DIGITAL Camcorders?

hi 8 or digital 8 sony do camcorders that have effects and titles and lights and 0lux true night vision so they should fit your bill

could i transfer the video to pc and add own effects with that?

as i would like to add music i have downloaded and credits.

u can conect n e camcorder to ur pc u just need the right stuff i ave a standard camcorder cost mi 250 quid from dixsons and i use a tv card to hook mine up but if u want to splash out get a digital 1 that will hook up or get 1 with a firewire port and buy a firewire card

then to transfur just use summit like windows movie maker or grab summit off the web to do video editing most will allow to add extra audio ontop n e way

most of the sony cams have i-link, from what i gather its some kind of firewire, newer models even have bluetooth but if all else fails a composite in video capture and the needed video editing software would do the trick
