Unreal Championship

Anyone got this yet, some are saying its a beta, some are saying its the full game sent to microsoft for final approval.

anyway just got it and burned it, and apart from the fact it takes feckin ages to load and you cant skip the intro movie, it seems like a boss game.

graphics are fantastic the gameplay is superb, nice and smooth, ive only played it for like 5 mins up to now but from wot i seen it is a superb game, cant wait to get right into it.

duh, only just noticed it cant possibly be the full game coz it only comes in at 692meg.

played it a bit more now, it really is superb plays fantastic graphics are something else, cant wait for the full game now, should be superb on xbox live

even tho its only a demo m8 its still WELL WELL worth the download, it really is totally superb on the xbox

this is one i WILL DEFFO be buying the original of like i just did with hitman 2

and oh boy what a gem it is, i reckon it looks every bit as good as the pc version of the new ut 2003, it got the same maps, and the controls are brilliant, they have done a first class job with this baby

Freaky, does it make you install anything for xbox live or update anything?

There have been some real horror stories about it updating the xboxdash.xbe and people with evo-x installed have had major problems, as the evox file was renamed etc.

havent seen any of those stories m8 so dont know if it true or not, would be a pain in the arse tho if it did.

and if i could use xboxconnect then id give it a go m8, but i aint got a clue how to use it, last time i tried playin halo online i couldnt connect to any games so i just gave up

There is a huge list of people saying about it at xbox-scene, something to do with an Update.xbe file that completely re-writes the xboxdash.xbe!

Sounds just a tad worrying, will just uninstall evo-x and pop the system back to normal.

I agree, Unreal Tournament 2003 is far better, the weapons in UC don't look right, and the maps are far less detailed.

Definatly wont be buying it, I'll stick to UT2K3

looks like im on me own here then dont it lads, to be totally fair i have not played both of them that much to be honest, to busy downloading.

just when i first put it on the xbox it looked superb, and i really liked it

been playing this game on xbc connect IT ROCKS...

For the people that are using it, do not select the xbox live option what ever you do..... it will re write a couple of files on your c partition on your hard drive.

To play uc on xbcconnect you only need to select system link option and at the same time load up your xbc connect program on your pc and your off, choose a game to join or create one.

Can't wait for xbox live to be available. By the way this is a beta version. The single player option does not work (there are no enemys). the only single player option that does work is instant action.

yeah m8 i noticed that as sooon as i started the game, i knew it was a beta, i thought it was weird that there was no enemies.

so you like it aswell then, dont it do your head in the time it takes to load m8, takes a f uckin year to load up.

so m8 is using xbconnect easy then or wot, id love a go of this online, how do i connect the box to my broadband modem

I love this game.

all's you need is a nic card in your pc and a crossover cable from the nic card to ya xbox and away ya go.

The loadings a nightmare, and like ya said the intro is good the first time but every time you load up, a bit much i think.

But never mind once you play it online its worth the long loading time.... because there are loads of people playing on line this very minute...

online is what uc is all about, once you have played it online you will never choose the single player option again....

had a very quick go last night, didn't work off a cd (froze up!) but I copied it to the harddrive, I think I might replace the movie though- quicker load times then!
