How do we know if they could have been helpful?

Is it possible to let every one in and have a 30 day grace period, if they just try and leech info and don't help then perm ban and let them know that when they join.

Or have a section for new sign ups if after 30-60 days they don't seem like a leeching cnut they can have access to the rest of the forum apart from the VIP section.

If after 30 days they haven't posted I suspend the account as a matter of course and check every couple of days to add, I know this means they have 30 days of leeching but I guess 30 days is a fair chance.
Members who just join to leech, post requests don't normally get them filled so it seems self regulating in that case.

It works pretty well as it is, sometimes we get a lot of twats and it gets frustrating but that's inevitable.

If people are complaining that a lot of CV's are being rejected and good people are being turn away why not let everyone in and then sort out who stay's and who goes

Just seen this BB and its good enough for anyone.

If a potential member cannot be arsed to fill this application in then they are not good enough for DF.
