8310 dual sims?

have any of u tried a genie sim in a dual sim? does it work?

i get "insert sim" flashing on and off, on an 8310, tried on 2 different 8310's, same thing.

have also got the dual sim replaced, but still get the same thing.

any help appreciated!

both 8310's are on O2 so naturally unlocked

I had the same thing happen with a triple sim and my Vodaphone sim card. Orange worked, Cellnet Worked but Vodaphone kept giving me the insert sim error. Tried all slots, even tried another triple sim holder, still no joy on Vodaphone, although the place I bought it from tested it and said it worked! In the end, I gave up.

Haven't got the 8310 anymore as some ******* nicked it, well actually they bought it on ebay using billpoint, then denied making the transaction, so I got a chargeback and lost £230.

A warning to all users of ebay - if the customer issues a chargeback ebay will not cover it - you have to pay.
The only way out is if you can prove the goods were received by the card holder, even then you have to fax the US. My advise is don't use billpoint as you are not covered for any loss whatsoever. They even charge you £10 for administration charge.
I lost £220 on the phone, £10 admin and still had to pay commission on the sale and the transfer of the original transaction. F***ing rip off merchants.
