Anyone got a spare dvd drive

As the title says guys

has anyone got one to sell, i started havin probs last week, then it went ok, now its gone again it wont eject at all the game in the drive just keeps booting so i need a new dvd drive.

maltloaf said it could be the drive controller chip but i aint got a clue how or if this can be fixed.

so has anyone got a spare drive guys, or is there anyone who can put in a pc one for me, the one where you put it right inside the box and it ejects like normal.

im in s hit till i can get it fixed guys, i CANNOT live without my xbox, and i havent finished hitman 2 yet

Buy a new one, switch the drives, take it back. I hear Arg*s are good for this!

Buy one, swap the drive, then take it back and ask for a refund. They have to refund any electronic purchase if its retuned within 27 days. Just be carefull when taking the screws out of the bottom.

Use a hairdryer on the stickers. If ur carefull it wont look like they have been touched !!!! i done it on several occasions.

yeah ive already tried m8, sent them an email but have had no reply and it still says no stock on the site.

im really in shit here, i think it could be the motor that controls the tray going in and out, but what the f uck do i know, ive got it in bitz now, its deffo nothing to do with the chip, no wires loose.

i might pay someone to take one back to argos for me, just in case, i cannot afford any more trouble with the law again no matter how small., knowing my luck id get nicked
