masking your ip?

Some of you might remember me, back in June i took the piss a little on my BY line, as a result i was xcaught for the first time for uncapping, well now several friends of mine r signing up to BY and want to know how to uncap, but i was wondering if masking my ip address would stop BY from catching me, should i uncap my modem again.

I'd rather not find out the hard way....again becuase the next time they catch me; they'll boot me off BY permanatly and they've threatened to get the police involved, which i sdoubt they will, but you can never be too sure.

BY catch anything over 2MB, they would not need an IP to locate the source

BY will know exactly who you are from your mac address which you have to register. This is how they will have known it was you previously.

When is the mac address sent out? (What happens if you have more than one NIC, or a card capable of changing MAC addresses?) Surly its on the login when you connect to the service gets tied to the IP they give you??
