Ive been told to expect mine next wednesday!
Theres problems with sony writers apparantly thats why they are delayed.
The Sony writers are not delayed. They are out in USA and are being released in UK next week.
The NEC drives have been put back by a month.

Well, ive just got my reply back from refresh, where ive ordered mine, and they are adamant that mine will be shipped on tuesday with next day courier service and ill have it wednesday.
/me shrugs!
What more can i say.....if they tell me its coming in, ive gotta believe em innit!
It frikken better be anyway...ive got 40 gig, 25 full of xbox "backup" data and 1 gig left!
Mine just came in Friday. I haven't installed it yet, but I ordered 25 purple top dvd-r's and they should be here monday. So that's when I'll install it and burn the stuff I have. Looks really sleek and cool.
www.ebuyer.co.uk had them. Prob not the cheapest, but a reliable company.
If you pay on a barclaycard, they will refund the difference if you find it cheaper elsewhere. this applies to buying from anywhere. so buy from some really great shop witha excellent backup, support etc, then find it from the cheapest scabbiest dump known to man, that has the lowest prices. best of both worlds. dunno if other cards offer this. dunno if it applies to oversea sites though.
