Whatever...?!

was listening to Xfm the other night and they played this track which I believe to be fairly new in the states which has a guy talking quickly about various situations then saying...Whatever, then a cool guitar rock sound comes on.
I didn't catch the name of the track or who sings it and it is doing my head in....

can anyone shed any light on this tune for me?

Not sure of the artist but Mark and Lard played it twice on Wednesday. I didn't like it the 1st time I heard it, but it's growing on me

ye.. spose if it was just a bloke speaking very fast it coult have been 'The Streets' new song, 'Don't Mug Yourself'

cant remember hearing a "whatever" bit in it tho.. but hell i have a memory like a seive, so that prolly means feck all lol

heard it again yesterday, it's called the "united states of whatever" by Liam Lynch or something like that. I am definitely downloading this tonight.

He's an MTV type person apparently who does loads of piss take songs from a MTV show called SUrf and Olly or someting like that, so I doubt it will be releases as a single anytime soon?
