    Default Which brand of CDRW?

I have just got my xbox chipped and I was wondering which is the cest brand of cdrw to use? I have tried memorex, smasung and packard bell but none of these work. Any suggestions would be great.

    Thanks!

yep totally true there m8, you will have to just keep trying like frankda says,as one that works for one person might not work for another.

just buy them in 1's till u find one it likes, try verbatim and tdk and some more.

HP CDRW from Currys worked OK for me - as OK as a CDRW can be - eg slow and jerky on cut scenes etc.

A memorex 10x worked fine for me, for loading EvoX onto it - I've been using a bigger hard disk since.

Note: it wouldn't work burned at 4x, but it did at 10x however (bit odd imo)

If your not planning to use originals, can the drive be swapped to something which is more compatable??
