best way to shrink video for email

can anyone recomend some decent software for shrinking video for email and forums etc, cheers

upload it to youtube then email the link or embed the video in email or forums thats what I do anyway

no probs m8, before youtube it was a pain in the arse, you had to encode the video to a small size (less than 15mb to let it be emailed) then you had to make sure the reciever of it had the right codecs to be able to play it, for me youtube just made this all easier

you tube only has max size of 100 meg yes????

from memory I think they changed it to 1gb then up'd it again to 2gb's but you're still limited to 10mins although I could be wrong on the time limit
