    Default Car Bleep

Is there any way that I could modify my central locking so that it bleeped or made some sort of noise when I lock the car . I drive a focus and it would need to be extremely easy to do coz Im a donut at that sort of thing and removable since its a leased car.

Buy yourself a 12 buzzer from Maplins mate. Finethe fuse that powers the central locking. It will me clearly marked on the fusebox cover and connect wire from fuse to an earth. Bingo it will bleep when you lock the door.

well double pressing the lock button on the key sorts out the second of your problems. as if the doors are locked the hazards flash and if one is left open or partly open including the boot they refuse to flash

Well u see I can get out ma car after a hard day and lock it . And whilst going up to my flat I still have that nagging doubt as to wether or not i did lock it. So I thought an audible warning would convince my inner paranoid self.
The guy downstairs has one and it drives me feckin potty and would like to return the favour

If it bleeps you'll wonder if you really hear it, if it flashes you'll wonder if you really saw it, either way you won't win,so...............save yourself the trouble and learn to acknowledge whatever signal it uses to let you know it's armed, or.......Buy one that does it without modification.
