    Default "F" directory

Why when i open Flashfxp and open the "F" directory when i try transfering stuff into it everything refuses to go?...and also if i look in the settings on my dashboard it says space on f = 0....But in my evoX.ini its saying to put games and apps in there?

you cant do it on the standard one then mate as all the room is taken up in the other partitions. It would be used if you had a larger hdd, i think you can use "e" aswell, Its one of the options to save stuff too on xbcopy.

you need to use evo-x, read the evo-x manuals around the web but basically it involves sending raw ftp commands (yes flash is fine) to get a format key and then to do the format itself.

Funny tho, i thought mine was ready formatted and i only had to do this when i installed a new hdd but there ya go

I didn't even know you could use the F partition. Surely there would be no space left on the drive? I assumed MS would have used all the drive already in the other partitions.

Oh well shows what i know then

Maltloaf, How easy is it in Flash to send the commands, I just Telneted onto the ip of the xbox on port 21 and typed the commands, Seemed to work quite well

Sorry for causing the confusion mcQueen, I only been into this since i did mine on saterday
