16gb 3gs

Hi all. I have just gone and got a 3gs 16gb from orange as an upgrade. What can I do with it? Its my first ever time with apple gubbins so have no idea...any advice, hints, tips...would apreciate comments

What firmware has it got? 3.1.2 or less and you're in business.

Dunno yet...its due tomorrow...is that for jailbreaking? Obviusly that gives free apps and whatnot...but if its over this firmware it still must be a good phone to have. Can later firmwares be jailbroken?

you'll probably be waiting until 4.0 full release for the new jailbreak tbh, unless you're at 3.1.2 as he says.

You could get on the dev program if you like for the 4.0 beta.

Sorry to say It'll be 3.1.3 I'm with Orange and was due an upgrade 3 weeks a go and they couldn't supply me with the iphone as they was out of stock, got the phone last week from them and it was 3.1.3 bb 05.12.01, no Jailbreak as yet !!
