I was fixing a relatives laptop which has Vista, i managed to fix it without having to do any reinstalls, but for future reference i thought i'd ask this question.
With Windows XP, when i used to do a clean install, it would delete the My Documents folder content and replace it with the default stuff, so i always used a separate location for my documents on the C:\ drive so that Windows wouldn't delete it, my question is, if i do a clean install of Windows Vista (using the same username, or maybe different? Does it make a difference?) on a laptop with Windows Vista, does it delete the "Users" folders that's in C:\Users\[username]?
Or does it keep that folder unlike XP?
